Life is a Picture
I took a little time today, to reminisce of yesterday. To review our lives in the past recorded here in photographs. As I page through the years, Sometimes I may shed some tears. So many faces I have known, some passed away and others grown. Sometimes it's hard to realize, when all spread out before my eyes, With all the pictures that I took, our whole lives are in this book.
A photograph is more than just A gift to bring or send. And more than just the likeness of A relative or friend.
It is a kindly greeting and A memory to hold. Of happy times and pleasant things. However new or old.
It is a mirror that reflects Companionship and cheer. And now and then the wistfulness That turns into a tear.
A photograph is something to Adorn a desk or wall. Or carry in a pocket and Display to one and all.
It is a faithful portrait The smile that friendship shares To add its sunshine and to show That someone really cares.

A photo album just shows you the photos but a scrapbook tells the story.
A scrapbook can contain photos, momentos, notes about the event and by the page's look and feel, it can depect a 'mood'.
Family faces are mirrors. Looking at the people who belong to us, we see the past, present and future.
Even if your on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.
There are no mistakes in scrapbooking. My number one tip would be there are no mistakes in scrapbooking, just room for embellishing. Do not be afraid to try new things, new techniques and remember there are no mistake...just room for embellishing:)
Remember the Future Remember Those Who Come After. We have a large box of fascinating photographs passed to us by my parents. Many of the people in the photos are now deceased relatives. The photos are nice but there isn't a shred of evidence of who they are or when the photos were taken. I call these jewels without a crown. How nice it would be if we knew the "who," "when" and "where" of these photos. So many of the scrapbook layouts I see don't identify the names or other important information of the people in the photos. And what about all those other pictures on the roll that weren't used in the layout? Remember, our memories fade faster than our photos, these days. Do the future a favor and identify the subjects of your layouts, even if it's on the backs of the photos. But don't use a regular pencil or pen. Use a photo-safe pen.
